Soul Compass Coaching with  PJ Spur

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness which lies between awake and asleep.  During hypnosis, the body and mind are in a relaxed, neutral state, while the subconscious remains awake and receptive to suggestions.  These suggestions can help to reshape your life in truly amazing ways! We can also talk to Spirit Guides, angels and even glimpse into past lives or the "life between lives" on the soul plane, while under hypnosis.

How Can Hypnosis Help You?

The ability to reprogram emotional attitudes and reactions is within every human being.  Hypnosis is the fastest and best way to change life-long patterns. Why suffer with a lifetime of emotional scarring?  With hypnosis, we can help you learn to accept, forgive, heal, and consequently love yourself and others.  As we learn to coexist, we are better able to achieve our personal and professional goals.

Far more than breaking out of old habit patterns, you can build a better future with hypnosis!  We work with each client to bring freedom from negative addictions, unwanted habits and oppressive patterns.  We can help regain balance and align you with your inner resources.  This results in increasing self-esteem, improving self-love and finding real joy!  This can happen on a mental, emotional, physical or spiritual level, or it can occur on all of these levels simultaneously.

Most hypnosis programs consist of two sessions.  You may decide that more is good for you.  It is your choice.  This program is usually sufficient for fear, phobias, anxiety and other issues, such as tobacco cessation.  I combine hypnosis with tools that you take home to continue the releasing and healing work on your own.

Based on my years of experience, the Soul Compass Coaching program has some basic guidelines for your success:
  •  Weight Loss is a minimum of 5 sessions
  • Smoking Cessation is a minimum of 3 sessions
  • Anger Management is a minimum of 4 sessions
Is Hypnosis Medically Approved?

Yes. The American Medical Association approved the use of hypnosis in 1958.

Can Any Person be Hypnotized?

Every person responds to hypnosis and most people can be hypnotized. The depth of hypnosis varies with each person’s ability to respond.  Even someone who is not naturally responsive can improve his receptivity to hypnosis with practice.

What Can I Expect in a Hypnosis Session?

You rest in a recliner, with soft music playing in the background.  You close your eyes and relax, while listening to the sound of my voice.  You aren't asleep.  Your conscious mind is resting, while your sub-
conscious mind is open to suggestions.  Some people call it "focused relaxation."
In What Areas is Hypnotherapy Helpful?

The uses for hypnotherapy are virtually limitless, addressing common psychosomatic problems such as grief, fertility, tobacco cessation, insomnia, fears, lack of focus, phobias, habits, low motivation, anxiety, stress and chronic pain.   You can also use hypnosis to meet your Soul Mate and formulate a plan to find the person of your dreams. PJ also works with Teens & Children with hypnosis.
Hypnosis may also be used for memory retrieval, pain management, sports (such as golf, diving, tennis, etc.), performance anxiety, study skills and to improve self-esteem.
